Tara Calcei
DVM
Dr. Tara Calcei grew up in Springfield Township and attended Springfield High School, graduating in 1999. She attended The Ohio State University, graduating in 2002 with a B.S. in Animal Science from the College of Food and Agriculture. She attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2007. Dr. Calcei practiced general practice and emergency medicine for 14 years prior to coming to SCVEC in the summer of 2021.
Dr Calcei is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society.
Her professional interests include emergency medicine, trauma medicine and soft tissue surgery.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and dogs.
